1)Offer Gasol a 3 year contract at max money and match Parsons.

or

2)Let Parsons walk and hold onto the cap room.

3)Also maybe look into absorbing Boozer contract and matching with Parsons. I believe they would get a trade exception for letting Boozer walk and try to work magic with that and draft picks next offseason. (Not 100% sure if that detail is accurate.)

Yeah I did
Asik should have just stayed on defense and they played 4:5. He was useless. He had 35pts in 6 games playing 27 min/g

Did you watch pau and Dwight pout through the season last year? That wasn't just dantoni, that was also two low post bigs trying to play high low and it just doesn't work with those two

Dwight is not that great a post player and pau is not that great a high post to low post passer. Pau is awesome swinging the ball from the high post but him shooting jumpers from the FT line is a waste. Dwight anywhere but under the basket or diving at the basket is terrible. Pau under the basket with a versatile player like odom at the high post was unstoppable

Cap room just doesn't do much for Houston. We aren't going to attract big time players. NBA players know that our city is cursed.

Agree to disagree.

Dwight actually does not get enough credit for his post game. There weren't many players better in the post last year than him. It got so much better as the season went along. It's part of the reason he averaged 28 & 14 in the playoffs.

The biggest f/a in last year's group turned down like 30 million dollars from one of the most successful franchises in all of sports to come to Houston.

Seriously STFU with this doom and gloom stuff.

Dwight f'ing Howard doesn't count? He is much much more 'big time' than bosh.

You just signed Dwight last year. You were probably getting Bosh until Miami increased their offer. Throwing big money at someone like Rondo might be attractive.

Yea save me sky is falling BS. We still have 2 top 10 players in the whole league and you're acting like we're the kings/pels/twolves.

It only works with Dwight in the post with four out spreading the floor. You can't cut off of him, you can't put anyone close to him, he has to go one on one and you cross your fingers and hope he gets a good shot. He got a lot better in Houston but in Orlando some of the shots he would take were hysterical

Pau can't put the ball on the floor and beat anyone to the basket. So you play high low with him and all he can do is shoot the high post shot. That clogs the drive lanes from the wings

Houston is best at four out, they don't need another big man. They need a real PG that can make life easier for harden by beating people off the dribble. I say get Rondo or make a real run at Bledsoe

I'm waiting for Morey to type up a letter telling Bosh to GFH.
