How would that work for the Nationals? Eaton was phenomenal defensively in RF last year, but the Nats have a pretty good RF already. Would one shift to left? Or to center and Turner back to the infield?

I would imagine they would go Eaton in CF then. He has more experience there. Plus combining Bryce’s playing style and how valuable he is to the team, I would give him the less strenuous position.

Yep. Still a massive crater at 1B so DC is looking up at CHC and LAD, but not a lot they can do about that awful contract.

While it may not show in prospect rankings, Giolito's stock has been taking a hit the past few months. From lack of command, bad mechanics, and most importantly drop in velocity, it's been going downhill slowly and it shows with this trade IMO. Lots of scouts feel Lopez will end up being a high leverage reliever and it's too soon for me to formulate an opinion on Dunning.
Adam Eaton is a solid player on a great contract.
Still, man... Giolito frontlined an Adam Eaton deal. The Nats obviously know more about Giolito than anyone else is all I have left to say.
