Fire him for what?

I think Karl's allowed to have his opinion. But he can't pull the trigger so if management doesn't sign off it ends there.

It wasn't just an opinion. Dude has been trying to get players to turn on Boogie. Completely unprofessional. And you think Cousins is just going to be able to play for Karl like nothing ever happened? Doubtful.

If you're a supposed team leader and want to be treated like a franchise type of player, yeah.

He has a reputation for being a volatile headcase. It's well earned IMO.

Player and coach don't have to love or even like each other but if Cousins wants to be a great player best thing he can do is prove Karl wrong.

Or he can sit and pout which would be more in line with the kind of player he's been thus far. Immensely talented but can be his own worst enemy at times.

This is working out perfectly for the Lakers.

Don't get Cousins? Fine. Draft #2 and move along to FA.

Wait until the last second until the Kings get so sick of the situation we profit for a lot less than they wanted initially? Awesome.

Knicks should take BB03's advice and grab Winslow

I don't see any way that Karl isn't fired this week. I think Sacramento is starting to realize how ridiculous it would be to trade Boogie because of the backlash from fans and the public in general.

I'm with you. The Kings finally have a star player that actually wanted to stay in SacTown before Karl got here. If I'm the Kings owner, I side with Cousins any day and keep trying to build around him

There's a bunch of chatter on twitter that Boston just traded #16 and Jared Sullinger to Charlotte for #9

@GeryWoelfel If the Kings and Lakers pull the trigger on a Cousins' trade, I'm told the Kings would take Russell at 2 and then Cauley-Stein at 6.

Not sure about that... Towns wasmore clutch with his inside game in a lot of games last year. Plus he didn't play near the mins that okafor played........

Okafor is one of the most skilled offensive post prospects in the last decade. Just stop.

Do I agree with Bilas' ranking. No. Is he being a little bias. Quite possibly. But to say Okafor isn't the more skilled post player, at least offensively, is flat wrong.

Today has been meh so far. I didn't expect trade deadline action, but the hot discussion for the day concerns the Sacremento Kings. Boooooooring.

I think okafor is a safer pick. Russell can be a Evan turner2.0

Russell is light years ahead of Turner coming into the draft

Is the draft actually going to start between 7 and 715 eastern or is it later?

Regarding Tyus Jones, I know some of the analyst have varying opinions on him and where he should be taken, but I would love to see him slip to the Spurs at 26. I think that'd be ther perfect system for him. For him to play under and learn from Parker would be huge. Thoughts?

Yeah I agree comletely. Not only are Russell and Turner different play styles/positions, Russell is a much better prospect at this point in the process than Turner was. I think Turner would be luck to be in the top half of the lottery in this draft. Other than Wall, Cousins (who had major character concerns) and Paul George (who grew bigger after he was drafted and had an offensive game that was still a little raw) Turner's draft was pretty weak.
