I'm pulling so hard for them to take either Frank the Tank of Lyles. Holy shite.

I could deal with that if they take Russell

I think we definitely would need to take another guard in that case.. Either in draft or free agency. Wade would be a good pick up. Russell Wade Kobe Randle Aldridge would be an interesting lineup. Not sure how well Kobe and Wade would play together.

Not that I don't think they're good players.. But no way should they be taken that early in the draft. Especially Frank.

All these laker teams are interesting but not very good. They would be beyond awful defensively with that group.

Frank is so hard to project. I could see him from an all star all the way down to a bust

Agreed. I'd like to see us pick up a defensive SF and avoid starting Nick Young.

I mean...you can trade back 6-8 slots, fill a need, and still have those guys available.

Aminu could be an option there. Not as expensive, doesn't need to take many shots and is solid on the defensive end. I hope the Mavs bring him back but he may have played himself out of their price range depending on who they go after

Honestly, our best case scenario would be:

Clarkson
Kobe
FA defensive SF (Deng?)
Cousins
Aldridge

Just like Okafor...Frank will have one of his own college teammates have a better pro carrer than he will...

Decker will be a real good pro as well as Justice........

That makes what we are offering for Cousins look like piles of gold.

Tbf they could end up super similar because we've never seen Randle and #2 pick play in the NBA

Yeah but we had seen Steven Adams, Luke Ridnour, Mitch McGary, Alex Abrines play in the NBA before that trade.

You know good and well that trade isn't like this one would be.
