The Big Sky doesn't want Idaho after they screwed them in the 90's.

Idaho is in the Big Sky in basketball, so that's not true.

For football they want no part of them. They should have never moved but understood why.
And UMass has Wipple as HC again, he won a NC with them about 10 years ago

If the Big Sky was butthurt, they would have let Vandals BB rot.

I gotta admit I think MSU wins a close one 37-34 type of game. Cook, home crowd and a front 4 that can push the pocket. Hegarty is apparently better at the bull rush than Grasu and we got some thick kids at guard with Brenner and Picarcik that were newbies last year, so that might help.
It will be an interesting game. Both secondaries left something to be desired in their first games. Cook being in that system for years seems like an advantage.

It will be a close game. It can go either way, but I think the Ducks win. Defense shows up a bit better and get 2 turnovers.

And pac 12 football for the weekend is underway

Anyone get a still shot of the Santa mullet on the Utah State sideline?

No targeting just accidental imo

stupid rule to eject the player
Posted on 9/11/15 at 8:12 pm to Ancient Astronaut
That wasn't intentional at all...ridiculous. If the throw is good there's not even a shot.
Give them the penalty. But don't eject him for that.

Looked enough like targeting to call it, but I hate the ejection rule.

The hit qualified as targeting but I don't think the safety did it on purpose.
I wish the refs could make a distinction between incidental contact like that and a clear as day intentional hit to the head.

Absolutely it's targeting. Those that think it's not have never read the rule book.

We all do, but that's pretty hard, even with the review
