You forgot about Shembo. He goes to rush end when ND goes Nickel. I think he will be a 1st or 2nd rd pick. Nix to me is the Worthy and Still of this year (best DL in country)

Wow, I'm surprised but pleased to see by the responses that the majority would take the Sooners minus the 10 points. At least that let's me know that everyone isn't betting Notre Dame.

No offense to all who like the Sooners minus the points, but it's not every day you get a chance to take the consensus 5th ranked team in the Nation plus double digit points even if you are not an Irish fan.

One last thing that concerns me about this game is the over/under which again looks strange to me. Would have thought lower but it's at 48 1/2 provided you are buying into the hype of the ND defense.

The ND offense is not its strength, but certainly better than LSU, and ND's defense is unquestionably better than LSU

I hope we meet on the field so we can judge the validity of these slanderous remarks. I would predict a similar outcome to the last time we met on the field.

Why? This ND team is million miles apart from those crappy defensive Weis teams...all he focused on was his boy Quinn and the offense. This team under Kelly is built entirely different with far greater defensive line talent.

I have no doubt ND would have an impossible task in scoring against LSU's D - but people are forgetting LSU's offense...it's the type of O and tailor-made that ND would thrive in stopping. You need to spread ND out...with their defensive line. If you're just coming straight at them in a power run game like Michigan State or Stanford...and passing occasional in basic receiver patterns...good luck; their DB's aren't bad either. This game would be ugly if played tomorrow.

I wish USC had played as disciplined a game today as ND played against OU. We'd have wiped the deck with Zona instead of being upset.

Nice job, Irish.

Wow! How CRAZY IS THIS?

Looks like you might be able to get the consensus #5 ranked team plus double digits points again this week!

Pj is there anyone more consistently wrong than you are? Holy shite dude.

You are terrible. I know it's an ongoing joke, but it seems you are the only person that doesn't realize everyone is laughing at you. Yet you still go on acting like you know everything.

I particularly liked his "you're the only other one that knows football like I do" comment. I'd be insulted if he said that about me.
