Is it just me or does getting plus 10 points seem like alot of points to be giving the #5 ranked football team?

Old betting rule. Never bet against ND in a big game.

Which is only slightly more famous than the new modern rule...never bet on Oklahoma in a big game outside of the Big12.

Rules trend toward ND to cover but I'm staying away.

Notre dame may have a worse offense than we do and OU has a REALLY good defense. ND may get shut out.

isn't it pretty typical that homefield advantage is worth at least like 3 points in gambling? so i think OU being a TD favorite on a neutral field would be about right.

Notre Dame's offense (quarterback) will hinder them greatly. OU covers.

This line reminds me of the OU @ K. State line last year. OU was a 14.5 fav in Manhattan after coming off a loss at home to T Tech.

Lost a lot of money that day

ND has a better defense than Kansas State, and a better defense than Oklahoma.

The ND offense is not its strength, but certainly better than LSU, and ND's defense is unquestionably better than LSU. ND has played far better competition than OU or LSU.

Don't forget ND haters, ND rested its starting QB last week in preparation for this week, and beat BYU and its #5 total defense with ND's 2 backup QBs. OU struggled against its only good competition (Kansas State primarily, Texas Tech to a lesser extent) this year. ND is equal to KSU at a minimum and arguably better than any team that plays Big 12 (weak) competition.

Don't get fooled by OU's weak schedule, ND did not have the luxury of playing Kansas, Texas, UTEP and a I-AA school, all terrible defenses that would struggle to stop a flag football team.

Talk all you want about OU's home record, but look at history and see ND is the only team that has been able to go there and break those winning streaks.

OU's best win is 41-20 over Texas Tech...the rest, including Texas are garbage roll ups...But people are seduced by the Red River Rivalry even though Texas is absolute dogshite.

The most accurate showing of OU is their 24-19 loss to K-State. If ND truly does have a better D than K-State, this could be a game.

Common opponent fyi:

K-State beat Miami 52-13
Notre Dame beat Miami 41-3

Please God let my prediction of a 10-2 LSU vs 10-2 ND in the Sugar Bowl come true.

You have a decent analysis and then you cap it up with something really stupid like this?
