Javy Baez replaces Addison Russell at SS. What a confidence boost for Javy...

Let's talk about the MLB's broadcast strategy...why is this game at 3:37 PM? Shouldn't they be trying to broadcast a deciding game with bitter rivals that have never met in the playoffs before at Wrigley Field in prime time or close to it? The Mets and Dodgers are the only other game tonight. Weird.

Let's go.

It's early all because the Dodgers are on the West Coast I'm sure. But yes it's dumb.

i like the day games, but i think each series gets a day game or 2. plus it might give them more time for travel going into the next game.

To St. Louis? From Chicago? I'm not saying the Cubs and Cards should be in primetime over the Mets and Dodgers, I'm saying they should both be in primetime.

NY and LA are 2 of the largest markets. Their 1st pitch is 5pm on the west coast, 8pm on the east.

Probably best for them. He's a shell of himself right now.

Kilo,

I love that lineup. The future of the Cards organization is in that lineup. Carpenter, Piscotty, Grichuk, Wong...not to mention strong veterans in Lackey, Holliday, Heyward, and Peralta.

I'm licking my lips with excitement!
