Tulane is not pining for a renewal of the LSU rivalry if that is what you mean
LSU doesn't have a rival and they somehow manage to have fun football

Is there still talk about Tulane sharing the stadium with an MLS team?

the one problem I have with a yearly date with ULL is they are not a real school. It is beneath the university.

quit trying to start another ULL bash thread, no ones biting

I'm dead serious...it could be fun, but Tulane University against the university of Louisiana Lafayette...ew

what?
There was a rumor the Benson and Manchester United were trying to bring an MLS to NOLA because of the Honduran population.

I know Tulane may not be, there's still a handful of old timers still holding on, though. Of course, more and more die every year

That's where the rumor started I believe...

that works both ways though. That is why I keep hearing "toolame"
I think an LSU/Tulane Rivalry would be fantastic and the death of the rivalry is more on Tulane (and the superdome) than on LSU
Tulane has some serious, serious ground to make up before that would be a compelling rivalry.
a competitive Tulane/LSU rivalry is the best scenario for both schools, but that will never happen. It just is what it is...but while ULL and TU would be competitive, I really think it is beneath a university like Tulane, shite like LSU too, to have a rivalry with some borderline community college. Yeah, they have a competitive football team, but like I said...not really a school or a crowd Tulane should be associated with in any way. Just my take. Perhaps a little snotty, but that is how I genuinely feel.

I wouldn't hesitate walking magazine up to Claiborne, with a nice stroll through the campus...tailgating in Audubon
How you gonna do that?

um, walk....UP
eta: should I clarify what street I would take to accomplish this or is this a technicality thing...I could still walk through the park.
park on Calhoun down by magazine, walk up, theeeeen walk one block over and be on campus...I'm confused

I can actually see this happening. Would be a shame but still not as bad as playing in the dome.
