Nick Wright is one of those guys that I have no idea how he's gotten as far as he has. The only time I see his name is when its associated with some stupid hot take

He once made the argument that, in golf, if you've won just one major then you shouldn't be distinguished as a "major champion".

Nick Wright has a black wife and (obviously) kids so that impacts some of his commentary. I listened to him in Houston when he was here and thought he was decent. I generally agreed with most of what he said regarding sports although he has a voice that can get aggravating at times.
I recall him talking about the growing trend of looking at your phone while driving, especially at red lights. He said he was doing it one day and thought he only had to pay attention to the car in front of him (i.e. they would start driving when light turned green). When he looked up, the light was turning yellow and he realized that the five cars around him were all looking at their phones also, nobody had even noticed it turned green.
