Been to most ballparks East of the Mississippi

In terms of "niceness" and fan experience:

NEW PARKS:

1. Baltimore
2. Cincinnati
3. Pittsburgh (2 and 3 are interchangeable)
4. St. Louis
5. Houston

OLD PARKS:

1. Wrigley
2. Fenway

I LOVED the old Kauffman. Never went to the new one yet. Most laid-back experience. I loved the outfield fountains. You could have an entire section to yourself and just stretch out and relax.

The parking lot and view of I-70 sucked, but you can't win 'em all.

Cincinnati has a sweet pre game bar scene right outside the stadium. that shite was really fun. went to the yardhouse.

kauffman is awesome but i haven't been in a while (i believe johnny damon hit a leadoff homer) and i was too young to drink and party.

turner has great tailgating for my age group. blue lot for life.

wrigley sucked. it was cool for the first 30 minutes of "oh shite im at wrigley field" feelings. but then it was freezing cold and i was behind a pole for 3 hours.

Ranked the ones I've been to -and # of games:

1- San Fran (great scenery and atmosphere) 1 visit
2- Houston ( great looking park) 3 visits
3- Mets (college football type of fans) 3 visits
4- Atlanta (very average scene, very knowledgable fans, but a difficult location) over five visits
5- Old Yankee stadium (great history, but fans were aloof, and barely golf clapped) over five visits

I hope more local bars and such open around that area to make it more of an experience. It looks so corporate right now that I can see a bunch of the locals getting tired of it very quickly. Hopefully it serves as an anchor spot for more businesses to flock around.

Yep, kind of hard to create an "authentic" experience from scratch, but hopefully the area will grow and not make ballpark village seem so contrived as it looks now.

I hate admitting this, but Wrigleyville is an incredible environment, and it can't be duplicated.

No its not, most people who have been rank it in the Top3.

AT&T in San Fran is the nicest one I've been to.

Not much to do once you're in there. The way to go is to walk around the neighborhood, hang out at Cubby Bear (or bar-hop), and then walk in 10 minutes before the game.

I'm about done with the tailgating/getting shitty drunk before ball games part of my life. That's why I like Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. There's a great Reds museum on the grounds that is fun if you remember the Big Red Machine. Pittsburgh has a good Negro Leagues Museum in the stadium, and the walk across the bridge and outfield seating is cool.

If you are a baseball geek or you want to take a kid who is interested in learning about the game, those are the places to go.

Very true, if you are a college aged kid there isn't a better tailgating setup out there then what you get at Turner, at least from what I have seen.

For actual parks, I really dug at&t. I enjoyed the area around wrigley more than wrigley. The other chicago park was pretty terrible.

Really want to visit SDG and PITT.

Been to all 30 active plus astrodome, Old Busch, and Kauffman pre renovation. To me you've got parks like Baltimore, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Cincinnati, Colorado and St. Louis that have some of the best views in baseball. Then you've got some of the other new parks such as Minnesota, DC, San Diego and Seattle that are all very nice parks as well. They may not have the scenery as the others so but they are certainly are very nice stadiums in their own right.

I never could rate all 30 in order because to me you can't compare Fenway and Wrigley to these new parks and it be fair. What you get in the old time classic parks you miss out on in the new facilities. As far as Kauffman goes I loved it. Went back there about four years ago and sat in the first row in the outfield in front of the waterfalls. Beautiful park and it is located in a sports plex kind of in the middle of nowhere but it's worth the visit.

1. Target Field: Great stadium in an amazing location. Just a great baseball experience.

2a. Kauffman Stadium: Beautiful stadium but it is in the middle of nowhere.

2b. Busch(new): Nice stadium and location.

4. Miller: Stadium looked cool but kind of seems like you are watching a game in an airplane hanger. Nothing is next to the stadium but the tailgating before the game is cool.

I've been to:

Jack Murphy Stadium
Petco Park
The Great American Ball Park
The New Busch Stadium
Minute Maid
Angels Stadium of Anaheim
The old Rangers ball park
Coors Field

Here's how I rank the above:

1) New Busch
2) The Great American BP
3) Petco Park downtown SD is te tits
4) Angels Stadium of Anaheim
5) The Murph
6) Old Rangers park
7) Coors Field
8) Minute Maid Park

These ranking could change after Sunday. I'll be in Minute Maid again behind the Angels dugout. Hoping to get Trout's autograph on a baseball for my boy.

Edited because I forgot about going to Coors Field.

Of the ones I've been to I'd rank them like this:

Busch Stadium
Citi Field
Ballpark at Arlington
Safeco Field
Kauffman

Kauffman is a nice place to catch a game though. Fountains are cool

PNC is the best ballpark I've ever been to and I've been to just about all of them in the Midwest and East Coast. I would like to go catch a game out in San Francisco though, that looks like a great experience.

PNC and Camden are two of the best out there, I'll give the nod to PNC though. Phils fan btw.

I've been to Minute Maid, Ranger Stadium, and Turner field.

Of the three, I would rank them Ranger, MM, then Turner. Although I greatly enjoyed my time at each.

Ranger stadium is just beautiful. I love it there.
