CBJ brought in a bunch of people to camp, I don't think any of them make it. There really aren't roster spots to push for. If they want to bide their time in the AHL and get called up that will happen, but usually that doesn't happen (they return to Europe) .

Yeah. Pihlstrom certainly wouldn't play in the AHL. He would go back to Russia or Finland.

So, if the theory of quantum goaltenders is true considering the rate of diminishing returns based on age/wear and tear multiplied by the stress of being on the Sharks for so long...

Hopefully the experience, the Lightning gained, helps them repeat last years successes. If they're fortunate enough to make the playoffs again, they have to play less games on the way to "The Cup". That young Lightning team took on way to much wear and tear last playoff season.

I've never been so perplexed as I am by Kari's performance. How does the same dude make such incredible saves and then watch some just roll past him into the net? The Stars have to get the goalie thing figured out or they are going to waste some pretty good talent because of it.
