Agreed. Houston is a huge city with a large hispanic population and a pretty good MLS team... and this is the crowd the Dynamo get:

highly doubtful that is a typical game considering they have averaged about 20k the last few years.

I'm guessing that was a midweek summer game

I could see the NHL giving it a shot. Make it happen, Tom.

I would prefer MLB though.

You may be right. I've never been to a Dynamo game and I talk out of my arse a lot.

NHL would be awesome, but it probably would never happen.

In Lafayette, the Ice Gators of the ECHL sold out the Cajun dome (11,000 people) for like every game in the late 90s. But again the popularity died out eventually.

NHL. Without a second thought. Like someone said, LSU baseball does it for me for baseball, and I also have the Braves.

I've been a lifelong Braves and Red Wings fan though, it would feel completely unnatural to just switch.

Not really a MLB fan, but think it would be fun.

Too hot to play soccer in New Orleans. The season starts March 8th and goes til late October... thats through the heart of summer.

NHL would be a blast. Would choose NHL.

I might actually become an nhl fan if we had a team. I choose that.
