This would probably not effect Jerry Jones' Boys' one bit, and nobody REALLY gives two shits about the Texans.

If no one over there gives a shite about the Texans, why would they give a shite about a TX team besides the Cowboys?

Saying that, if the people in SA would want a team, I could see that being a good city. I think Oklahoma might not be bad either though.

Obviously there should be a team in LA (at least one) but other than that:

1. San Antonio

Tan and some other Mexican color

If not for the stupid Houston Texans (what was wrong with Oilers?), the SA team could be called The Texians (what Sam Houston, Bowie, Travis, etc called themselves)

2. Memphis

I don't know what colors (am I a fricking interior decorator?)

The Memphis Kingsnakes!

Crowds were horrible for the Oilers games in the Liberty Bowl, but then again they played in the Liberty Bowl. Doubt they would ever be considered for an NFL team seeing that the Titans aren't that far away and I don't think the Grizzlies have done that great selling out.

Man what thinking. I'm sure the NFL is dying for the N. Miss. and E. Ark. markets. Huge population centers

I will agree the games in Memphis were a bad idea, they should've played in Vandy Stadium even if it was smaller all along.

No one lives in those areas. You can't count DeSoto County since it's Memphis metro, so you get nothing in terms of the population of those areas and they aren't exactly wealthy areas either.

The Saints do much better by getting the Gulf Coast. Mobile metro probably has the population of N. Miss and E. Ark that aren't part of Memphis metro.

You could say that about almost any city/team. If the team sucks a lot of fans will not show up and pay too watch them play.

San Antonio is so far up the Cowboys arse, I don't think any team would work there.

I know it may be out there but I'll go with Birmingham.

1.) Metro area over 1mil
2. Football crazy state
3.) Government that is probably willing to fund a stadium(recession or not)
4. Decent number of Fortune ranked companies

5. Mayor Larry Langford- he is a nutjob. He wants to build a dome in Birmingham. Thats not so bad right? Well he wants to build it so he can make a bid on the Olympics.

But other than that I would love to have an NFL franchise. Problem is that you have 2 NFL teams 2 hours away, Falcons and Titans, both of which are up and coming.

Vegas would never work. No stadium with anything close to the required capacity and any teams based here have had horrible fan support. Oh, the gaming issues do come into play a bit as well.

San Antonio is just too close to Dallas. I can't see Jerry Jones letting that happen.

I could never see this happening but I'll throw out an "out of the box" choice - Albuquerque, NM.
Not located too close to any exsisting franchises, plenty of room outside the city for a new stadium or they could enlarge the stadium UNM plays in (at least as a temporary solution.)
Have them wear red and gold and call them the Diablos.
