I bet by the end of this school year, the privates are gonna pull out and make their own League.

This will be the only year this is done, the Private schools won't go for this again.

This is one of the dumbest things I have ever seen. This is the perfect time for "let's just give everybody a trophy" kind of talk.

You're right, it does not give a specific schedule, but I'd assume that Cath. B.R. would play the other 9, then have a one game filler? 10 game schedule, right?

seems super, super shitty for Byrd

no doubt, but I was more thinking for purely travel reasons

Why is Byrd in this division and not 5A? Basically, what makes a school a select school?

Jindal should just pull funding for the LHSAA. Save the state some money.

God damn this is stupid.

Only 27 teams in Class A, so all teams makes the playoffs with the top 5 teams getting 1st round byes.

I see that Ben Franklin is doing the honorable thing and opting out of the Division II playoffs.

Have to give the rest of those kids from other schools a chance at some hardware.

Yep, its done got outlandish however we have to look at why this came about.

There is just a few private schools that are fronting as 'Christian' schools when their primary purpose is nothing more than a glorified sports camp.

Yeah, they have slogans like 'To God be the glory' but their real purpose is to see how many state championship trophyies they can stack in their front lobby.

Their stated goal is to teach kids the Bible... but that is only if they are 6'4" and can a 40 under 4.5 seconds or can pitch a sofball 70 mph...
