Freeze came in the same time he was with ULL, right?

Yeah, Saunders was the like the recruiting coordinator for Ole Miss, so you know he's filthy.

Orgeron, Freeze, and Saunders were together at Ole Miss from 05-07. Saunders handled academically challenged kids during recruiting there. There's no doubt he did the same for Hud...

Serious question here, What's the worst case scenario punishment wise? Vacation of wins? Losss of a couple scholarships?

It’s also believed the NCAA does not think Hudspeth or Cajuns recruiting coordinator Reed Stringer had any knowledge of what allegedly was taking place, and that goes for the rest of Hudspeth’s past and current UL coaching staffs with the exception of the accused rogue assistant.

Bunch of bullshite right there. It's like hiring Nevin Shapiro as your hospitality director and then acting like you're shocked when somebody tells you he did something wrong.

Since the school is cooperating, I'd guess a couple, maybe 5-10 scholarship reduction.

BTW, I was confused at first when reading the article. I was thinking it was UL that was caught, then I read ole Hud mentioned as the head coach, and not Todd Berry. Good to know my UL Warhawks are still competing fairly.

I heard the punishment the Cajuns are facing is having to revert back to the University of Southwestern Louisiana.

Doesn't look that bad. 4 major allegations, but 2 involve the conduct of Saunders during the investigation.
The other 2 involve ACT test taking for 6 recruits, and a cash payment to one recruit while he was at a JC.

ULL self-assessed penalties (basically reduced the recruiting contacts for the Fall 2014 recruiting period) so they may be okay.

Scruffy heard they are actually forcing them to revert back to SLI.

So many Affliction shirts destroyed in anger.

Hopefully some big-name school doesn't get embroiled in a similar scandal in the next six months.

You remember the old basketball saying: The NCAA got so mad at Kentucky that they put Cleveland State on probation.

Hopefully they find that it was just Saunders.

I mean I knew something was up when Qyen Griffin and Delvin Jones qualified.

Yeah... Saunders was an Ole Miss lifer and considered one of the top recruiters in the SEC. Probably been up to this for a long time.

I doubt Qyen could even spell his full name (Qyendarius sp?) on the ACT

I remember following Griffin's recruitment in HS when all the Mississippi schools considered him academically untouchable then we magically had him playing a few years later. Basically, "we didu sumpin'".

Are those scholarship reductions per year or do they go against the 85 limit? If the former, they may not hurt at all, if you are up against the limit and were only going to sign 22 or fewer anyway.
