That's a world I want to live in!!!

It would be sooooooo interesting.

Where do you set the cap?

How much does a Lebron or Steph command, how much of a discount do they take?

Rookies coming in as free agents, so much could happen in terms of where the good players would end up.

I think if we start a petition, Mr. Silver will hear us out. I'm really confident in that!!!

I can get behind it. It has its flaws, but there are flaws in the current system as well.

there would obviously be a salary minimum set in place for a player's MVP.

More top heavy, how so?

This is probably the way to get the most parity, actually.

$100K Contract with $15 Million dollar bonus if he maintains his scoring pace while simultaneously finishing in the top 3 for Defensive Player of the Year.

The top rookies would want to sign for the best teams making the best teams even better.

The way to get the best parity in the NBA is to disband 10 teams and make a hard cap.

Why have a hard cap if you don't want max salaries?

You're assuming they don't want to get paid. If the best teams are near the hard cap, there isn't much room left to pay a top prospect.

Why would you assume the best teams would have more money available under the cap?

Say Golden State has $2mil under the cap but Minnesota has $12mil, you think a rookie is going to leave $10mil on the table to go to a winner?

Remember, the better teams will have better players which likely means a higher salary closer to the hard cap.

It is top heavy and always is because like always there were only like 4 actually good teams this year.
