Doesn't even matter if the Hawks win tonight cause they won't possibly lose at home on Saturday

I honestly have no idea how this is a 3-2 series. Atlanta has been the better team in all 5 games so far imo.

It matters. A grueling, physical 7 game series with Boston is not a fun way to go into the second round where a well rested Cavs team awaits.

People say that all the time, but I feel like there are enough instances of the team coming off of game 7 coming into town and stealing game 1 for us to put that cliche aside.

Yea lots of times the team with the layoff is rusty.

Yeah it depends on the makeup of the team in question.

Generally, if they're older, the rest is more beneficial. Also playing one fewer or two fewer games reduces the time in which freak injuries can occur.

A team that's found a groove and is rolling though? Doesn't matter as much. Spurs went 7 with Dallas in '14 and took the frick off from there.

Which is why GS allowed Houston to win 1 game..didn't want that long of a break tbh

meh. a couple games were like that but i honestly just think that game 7 would look a lot like game 5 and it'd be irrelevant.

i said hawks in 6 from the start, though, and think we win tonight. i basically just mean that if we lose, you wont be able to convince me to be worried about saturday.

That Heat-Hornets series is the matchup of Round 1.

Heat need to do a better job of defending the paint

For real, goddamn.

How many games does it take Houston to dispatch of these two? I say Atlanta in 5 and a clean sweep of Boston.

Do not weep for The Hive. It is now located in its true home.

Besides, y'all have The Blender now, so....

On second thought, go ahead and weep for the Hive

Does my heart some good to see the Charlotte Hornets having a little bit of success. Never felt right having the Hornets in New Orleans and then Charlotte being called the Bobcats. Good on MJ making it happen.

my only concern is it seems many in our fanbase, including myself, have kinda been celebrating like last night won the series

with a young playoff team with not much experience clinching a series, and going against a veteran Miami team, I hope this team comes out with little hangover from last night's thriller

tomorrow is gonna be tough

Boston is the Memphis of the East. Play harder than the opponent so win the majority of their regular season games, but once the playoffs start and the other teams plays hard, well they typically don't look all that impressive.
