I'm excited about this first one. This is a big test for the Cavs. Both teams will treat this one pretty seriously I'd imagine.

And don't get me wrong. The second one will be great. The Westbrook show is always a must watch.

Downtown Cleveland had a little bit of a buzz to it tonight

And now you see why I was so flustered when you were saying they would finish Top 5.

Good start for a neutral viewer, these games usually disappoint.

A 7 game series would be fun.

I really think Cleveland will make it (only threat is Atlanta). Not as confident about Golden State, but that's simply because they could lose to anyone in the West, and it wouldn't be a shock.

The Pels need either the Thunder or Spurs to slip out of the Top 8. That just doesn't seem likely at all.

Admittedly I don't follow the NBA like I did when I was younger but I thought their off-season moves combined with another year experience and a healthy Bledsoe would give them about 8-10 extra wins this year but I was way off.

I agree with all of that except for the part where Atlanta has a chance. You need AT LEAST one superstar in the playoffs, usually 2 or 3, and they have none. The only team in the last 30 or so years to win it all without a superstar was that Pistons team and that was only because the egos on the Lakers imploded.

What the hell is Speights supposed to do there on D? Magically turn invisible?

But you really think the team with the 8 game lead on the entire conference and home court throughout doesn't have a chance? Come on

Al Horford is a really, really good basketball player. I think the Cavs will win, but the Hawks absolutely have a chance.

I'm pulling for PHX because I don't think they have a chance at making the playoffs.

I think the Hawks have a lot of good matchups for that possible series, unless LeBron goes nuclear.
