re: NBA Opening Night! | Rockets steal the win from the Warriors while you were sleeping

I was confused last night. I found myself pulling for the Rockets. The Warriors have caused me to actually root for the Rockets in a game. I can't stand the Warriors.

I was watching with a Mavs fan, and I couldn’t believe he was pulling for us. The basketball the Warriors play is beautiful, but that team is so easy to root against, especially after the most recent championship.

Could it be all of the likeable CC personalities that you come across online having an impact on who you pull it for?

No, I just somehow hate the Warriors more than the Rockets.

What's the record for championship teams on opening day after winning the title? I have to imagine it's really bad in recent memory.

Nice win Rockets and that gif is amazing

It's sad the Rockets barely squeaked by when GS is still in full on celebration mode, barely paying attention to their opponent. Rockets shouldn't feel good about this at all, they should actually be worried

I’m sad the fires of Califonia didn’t make their way to Oakland and San Fran personally.

Shouldn't be ignoring the potential superteam up in Minneapolis: Butler, Wiggins, KAT, Jamal Crawford, Jeff Teague, etc that's a pretty deep team now

I'll take any win at golden State. I feel great about a 17 point comeback against any team.

He's a cavs fan w washed up wade and rose in the starting lineup commanding big minutes. They got more things to figure out than anybody.

Butler
quote:Below average player thus far, and one of the worse defensive players in the league last season. Extremely overrated at this point.
Wiggins
quote:Already on the cusp of superstardom, and should be right there if his defense can improve a bit.
KAT
quote:Below average at this point in our career, and except for the occasional hot night, easily replaceable.
Jamal Crawford
quote:Solid enough player.
Jeff Teague
They are a long way from a potential super team, and investing so much in Wiggins, just doesn't seem like it's going to help that.

Gotta assess overall depth too and coached by Thibodeau, who elevated the Bulls back to East contenders after an entire decade of incompetence and misery

Won’t go as far as calling them a superteam but I am excited to watch them in OKC Sunday night.

Hell I’m excited for the Knicks @ OKC tomorrow night. Melo vs the Knicks, Kanter vs OKC.
The Knicks may actually give teams problems rolling out skilled foreign bigs in: Prozingus, Kanter, and Hernangomez. I contend that teams like the Knicks and Pelicans can roll back the clock and win with size on any given night.

FIFY. At least they'll be in the finals.
