I hope Rose can stay healthy because he is a great addition for them.

CC might be the 2nd best team in the league.

Has anyone heard the sound of Hayward breaking his leg?

Marv saw it early and couldn't stop repeating, "he broke his leg. He broke his leg. He broke his leg."

The crowd is freaking out while they show players struggling to come to grasp that their friend just snapped his leg.

Damn.

Yea I heard it loud but thought it was just him hitting the floor hard. It wasn't until Kevin said the repeated phrase over and over until my mind focused in on what he was repeating. You watch in a sort of trance state, but when I finally realized what I heard and how he was laboring in pain on the court, yea, I was sick to my stomach.

Grown man by himself with his ankle at a 90 degree angle and everyone in the world is watching you in agony. My heart felt for him for real. It was shocking. I stopped watching until the 4th. Took the wind out of the game for me. No league is better without its stars and no league more so than the NBA.

The Cleveland crowd should be exalted for showing empathy and sympathy for him during the whole ordeal. It is a ltitle more morbid when the fans are that close to the players. Surprised no one threw up in the stands. Seriously.

I'm going to withhold judgement for awhile on whether he is a good or bad addition. I don't see why he would be bad, but a major improvement towards winning a championship? Eh, maybe. He showed a little explosion tonight too.

Wade was passive and will be most of the regular season. Sure he will hold fort until Thomas returns and probably rest his little heiny until playoffs.

Crowder is a huge addition.

But saying all that Houston is loaded. Their depth can match GS and their defensive ability shot up a notch. Could they choke again? Yea, but they seem to have the only roster that can take the waves GS brings during the course of a game and absorb them without collapsing.

San Antonio with a healthy Leonard all year against GS is also something we all wish to see.

Jesus.

It was bad enough live on TV. I can't imagine behind there.

I just hope it was high enough to just be bone. Even that is weird to type. But, sports.

Fun first night. But this hurts :/

That wasn't me S. you may have mistaken me for one of the player development guys. Typically I am on tv a few times a year at CC various games so if you think you see me again laternin the season you could be right.

The in-game thread yearns for you. Dudes don’t know how to act on here without B’s insight.

Going to be a fun season.

I'm not really an in game thread kinda guy. I'd rather watch the game with my full attention and then post my analyses after that.

Operating on 4.5 hours of sleep today, but games last night are why I have so much trouble giving up.

Chris Paul's teams were 0-130 when his plus/minus was -10 or worse. Last night he was -13, but Houston got the win (via @jkubatko).

Chris, meet James. Welcome to CC. Take your time we don't need you right now.
