You can watch the lottery in its entirety on Yahoo.

That's the opposite of rigged.

In terms of the All-NBA selection, that was a sticking point in the last CBA, and the vote for All-NBA was a compromise solution, one which the NBA writers really dislike.

Brooklyn were idiots for mortgaging the future for the geriatric squad. They had the best chance to land 1

This guy obviously doesn't follow the NBA. His posting history is terrible too. Can't say I'm surprised.

its just so dumb. No wonder the same teams make the finals every year. 4-0 sweeps in conference finals. Stupid contracts based on all NBA teams. League could be so much better

Why would I follow the NBA religiously like some. Everyone knows what the finals are going to be in October

Prior to 2015, the Warriors hadn't been in the finals since 1975. The Cavs made the finals once prior to LeBron coming back, it was in 07 when LeBron willed them there. You're making stuff up.

Everyone but the Nets management thought the trade they made for KG/Pierce was stupid and that it would bite them in the arse. They gave away their future trying to buy a title when Prokhorov became the owner. This year's pick was "swapped" so that Brooklyn could circumvent the rule that forbids teams from trading out of the first round in consecutive years.

quote:

BROOKLYN, NY – The Brooklyn Nets have acquired Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Jason Terry and D.J. White from the Boston Celtics in exchange for Gerald Wallace, Kris Humphries, MarShon Brooks, Kris Joseph, Keith Bogans and three first round draft picks (2014, 2016 and 2018), as well as the right to swap first round picks in 2017, Nets General Manager Billy King has announced.

“Today, the basketball gods smiled on the Nets," said Nets Principal Owner Mikhail Prokhorov.

That trade makes the Expos trading away their prospects for Bartolo Colon look like a fair deal.

Worst trade in NBA history

Journalists deciding who can get max contracts based on their all pro votes is so stupid.

Then why the frick are you posting about It?

And are you really unaware that teams trade picks, so a top team can end up with a high draft pick? It's like you don't watch any sports at all.

Yahoo got into some of this yesterday.
What All-NBA honors mean for some of the league's biggest stars.

So you don't think the most popular player (and jerseys/merchandise) should get the most money?
