As for Wade, rival executives are split on whether he and Riley will be able to reach a compromise that will keep him in Miami. One Western Conference executive told CBSSports.com there are strong indications Wade is gone, with Cleveland and the Lakers chief among his likely destinations. Another Western team, however, is betting on Riley to find the middle ground. "I don't see why they'd argue and fight after what they've both done for each other and for that franchise," the exec said.

he would have to take a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE discount to play with the Cavs...

Lakers offer him how much? How much does D-wade bring to the table given him and Kobe are similar players at the SG position

Heat's Wade follows fan on Twitter after he photoshops him in Cavs jersey.

Twitter user Ishmael Soriano (@confiident_much) recently photoshopped a convincing picture of Wade wearing a Cavaliers jersey. The three-time NBA champion took notice of the tagged image, repaying Soriano with a follow on his account.
Let the "DWade to Cleveland" rumors intensify.

I would say there is less than 10% chance he leaves the Heat. And if he does he definitely isn't going to go to the lakers to be kobes backup

It does seem odd all this is coming about and earlier in the year it was caught on tape that him and lebron were talking together and lebron says something like "we are gonna reunite and do big things next year" or something of the sort.

Can we get a NBA FA flight-tracker thread going?

I think for D-Wade, and the Heat its in both of there best interest he stays in Miami

but if Wade wants to be playing in the finals and not watching it from the ABC/ESPN microphones....he'll play with LeBron for pennies

Lebatard would be 100% ok with and on Wade's side.

The Mike Ryan rant would be the one you would want to hear.

Wade isn't leaving. Deng opting out solves all of this. He opts out, there's $. If the Heat can trade McBob, there's $.

If he wants the money, I don't know why he'd go to LA over staying in MIA. Not winning a title in either place.

Cleveland is the only place that makes sense if he's trying to make one last title run and is willing to leave money on the table.

ETA: I agree with what others have said in here about there being a small chance of him leaving though.

Lebatard wouldn't melt. Stu Gotz and the producers would, though.

not for nor against....Just think if they brought in Wade, it wouldn't help Kyrie's growth in and around LeBron...Kyrie missed out on great opportunities with being hurt majority of the playoffs and Finals

PG - Kyrie
SG - Wade
SF - LeBron
PF - Love
C - Mozgov

BENCH
- Thompson
-JR Smith
-etc............

ooooooooooooo boi

It's not about this coming season, it's about allowing Miami to remain flexible to at least have a chance to pitch KD the following season.

Deng opting out has no effect on that.

If Deng opts out then there is additional $ to frontload Wade's extension so they can still get a meeting with Durant. So yes, Deng opting out does have an effect on that.
