Between that awful performance by DJ Khaled and Fat Joe, and the weird skills competition, and the God awful dunk contest... is this the worst NBA all star Saturday ever? If not, what is?

Not true. They just dickride the good teams, like when the Lakers were really good, the "big 3" era Heat with Lebron, and the present day Warriors/Cavs

Skills Competiton was what the skills competition is. I enjoyed it. The three point contest was fun too. A shootout was necessary to determine a champion. Klay Thompson didn't make the championship round which was a big surprise. The dunk contest just sucked. It would be nice to have fewer commercial breaks and maybe a return of a previous fun competition such as the shooting stars competition. It's fun to see a race to make a half court shot.

I watched the whole night in about 20 minutes with the DVR, I feel bad for people who watched live.

Complete garbage. So glad I didn't pay the $300 Stubhub prices to watch that. Between Klay not getting out of the first round, Steph missing 10 half court shots, Gordon not completing dunks, and Glenn Robinson basically copying John Wall's dunk, nothing exciting happened. Hell even Lebron didn't even come out to watch.

2014 in New Orleans was worse. I was pissed when I left the arena because of how bad it was. Felt like a total waste of time and money!

2014 was bad with the "East vs West" gimmick but it was still better than this. They actually had stars in the game. I hate when they always have guys over 6"10 in the dunk contest and guys that played 10 games all year. At least get Brandon Ingram type players.

We're one year removed from the best NBA dunk contest ever. This year's was abysmal, doesn't mean the dunk contest is dead.

If the dunkers would've hit their dunks on the 1st try instead of needing 3-4 tries, everyone wouldn't be complaining about it being bad. Some of those dunks were pretty damn creative but missing the 1st try on it kills a lot of the excitement
