USMC 0311 for 8 years here, he will be doing the Lord's work!!!! If he just listens to his Staff Sgt he'll be fine............and cold.............and wet.

Marines are part of the navy. Basically if you are too stupid to do anything in the entire navy, you become a marine.

And he will only be a 2nd LT probably in charge of an 0311 platoon. If they go he will be in the shite right there with his Marines.

There are 20+ different MOS's for ground contracts. Infantry, tanks, artillery, engineers, logistics, supply, communications, etc. etc.
Once they graduate from TBS, they get their MOS along with all of the other 2ndLts.
My TBS class was 3/4 USNA folks.

Good to go brother. After I got out I became a cop and then a fed. I might be the dumbest person in the face of the earth. Of course, I work my arse off and probably wouldn't have done anything differently.
