Strange tangent...

But in the great Flu pandemic of 1918...it wasn't the elderly or children who mostly died...which usually happens.

The majority were healthy young males 20-40 years old. For some reason their strong immune system helped the influenza strain punish them.

So it doesn't matter how strong you are.

So bodyweight exercises like we do in basic training?

That shite doesn't work for football players.

Any real s&c coach knows this

It was also more about details and working as a team. Taggart's response put it to bed for me. It was a perfect storm really. New coaching staff, Oregon players feeling the need to prove themselves and coming off winter break.
