Since there have been some wild finishes already

Davidson today and South Carolina last night, why not discuss some.

I will go with 1995 second round NCAA in Austin, when Lawerence Moten called a timeout that they did not have, to get Arkansas into overtime and escape as a 2 seed. Arkansas ended up going to the Final Four that year. If Moten, he was a Sr I think, doesn't panic Syracuse wins as Arkansas was down 2 and had to foul to stop the clock.

That Cuse vs 16 seed where they almost lost.

ETA: Laettner's Elite 8 buzzer beater against FlukeConn in 1990.

What year was that?

I remember them getting beat by Richmond and Princeton almost beating Georgetown as a high seed.

WVU/Texas 2006. It's not talked about a lot when it comes to great tourney finishes but it was wild.

Syracuse vs UNC-A was in 2012. It was funny because everybody was freaking out over that game and then Lehigh/Norfolk State beat Duke/Mizzou.

I think the Sweet 16 game vs Clemson with Hennefeld hitting a huge shot was as crazy.

That Regional in East Rutherford was wild.

Butler returned the favor in a terrific OT game in the 2011 Elite Eight.

People still show highlights of that game though. I don't see it as unheralded. Mike Miller became a star that day.

The next year though when Butler beat Miss St with a former SMS player was crazy also.

Another good one is the Mountain West Semi's when Van Horne went coast to coast and just went off the last 5 minutes as a Junior.

Tate George v. Clemson

I also remember WKU with a big comeback on Drake (I think) a few years ago.

(8) Tennessee upset by (9) Illinois State in the opening round in 1998. Current Illinois State head coach, Dan Muller, made the game winning layup in overtime.

I forgot that the MVC put them out two years in a row

But we drilled them by 30 and they fired Green the same week.

I want to puke on this one. I have never been so pissed walking off a floor in my life. Dude couldn't walk and chew gum at same time
