I've been to several NBA games and seen some of the best in person like LBJ, KD, Curry, Kyrie, Wade, Melo, Harden, etc. One of the best performances by a player Ive ever seen in person was when Rudy Gay played the Pels in NO 6 or 7 years ago. He had an easy 40 and put on a clinic scoring every way imaginable. His career stats are similar to Kawhi's and better than guys like Andre Igoudala and Draymond Green. Do you think Gay's career is underappreciated in general? Who are some other players you feel dont get the attention they deserve?

EDIT: I found the highlights of the game I mentioned earlier of Gay's that I went to. LINK

This Raptors fan seemed to give Rudy his respect.

Gay has a reputation for being an empty stats guy and not caring about winning.

Rick Majerus was never fully sold on Rudy Gay:

I'm not a big Gay guy

I would go with Elgin Baylor, personally. He never seems to come up much in terms of older stars, but he averaged 35 points and 20 rebounds, then 38 and 19 in back to back years.

Even with two injury plagued years at the end of his career where he barely cracked double figure scoring, he still averaged 27 and 14 for his career.

Harden is the Greatest Player of All Time yet no one recognizes it except one poster so I’ll have to go with him.

I do think Harden is the third best SG of all time over Wade but many dont recognize him as such so I will agree his is underrated.

The “Birdman”. He was a rebounding machine and played with a passion you don’t see in many players.

The Hawk Connie Hawkins dude was ALL BUT unstoppable and should’ve been greater than he was but for the NBA unjustly and incorrectly blackballing him for a chunk of his prime

Tyson Chandler

Jason Kidd as well. Completely changed his game as he got older and ended up in the top 10 in made 3-pointers when he retired after not really having a jumper coming into the league. That and those Nets teams he was on were fun as hell to watch
