Correct... As far as having anything as far as WINNING goes its Cleveland and its not close... The two cities are vastly different though... The Cleveland fan is a hard working plumber union type---RUGGED hard nosed...dedicated...

Atlanta fans are high tech snobs that don't know how to enjoy success. Spoiled in a sense. The Braves won all those division titles and they had trouble selling out a playoff game... What does that tell ya....

Possible but 1970 Baltimore had 4[FOUR] 20 game winners in the same season.....

Considering you had to go back 50 years to find a second thing positive about Cleveland sports I think you have your answer

Seems like you want an Atlanta hating page. Cleveland and it is not even close. Braves have won the World Series. Georgia Tech is actually in Atlanta too. They have not won much but Cleveland always seems down.

This is always a stupid topic. Atlanta is a great area for sports and outdoor activities for people to participate.

If it is sports fans, on any given Saturday in the fall there could be 500-600 thousand people attending football games within 2 hours of Atlanta (UGA, Ga Tech, Tennessee, U of Ala, Auburn, Clemson.

If you say Atlanta is a miserable PRO sports town then you may have a point.

Washington DC is the worst followed by Cleveland and then Buffalo. The Braves automatically take Atlanta out of the discussion. Braves fans are spoiled as frick with their 14 consecutive division titles, five World Series appearances, and three first ballot HOF pitchers in the 90s and 00s.

But that is based on missing out on championships and losing in poor fashion, at least recently. The Braves, Hawks and Falcons have all had plenty of success in recent years. It's not like these are failing franchises.

As others have said, you can't be miserable AND apathetic so the answer is Cleveland.

Cleveland is worse, although I disagree that its "not close". The Braves World Series 20 years ago gives Atlanta an edge, but you have to admit it has been pretty miserable for Atlanta as well. The world series was great, but all of those pennants and only one championship was pretty tough.

Other cities with a claim would include Buffalo, San Diego, Milwaukee, and Phoenix.

It's gotta be either Cleveland or Buffalo. The fact that Atlanta's lone World Series win came against Cleveland makes that an easy answer. I have buddies here who swear that 1995 Indians lineup was the best they've ever seen, but they just so happened to run into Maddux, Glavine and Smoltz. Combine that with the Browns failures, especially against Denver, watching LeBron announce his decision on national TV and winning two titles in Miami, and there's an easy case for Cleveland as the most tortured sports city.

Also the Browns fell for Manziel's cockier than shite attitude without actually realizing that he wasn't an NFL QB, while Teddy Bridgewater would have been the answer to their problems.

Packers are the unofficial NFL team for Milwaukee which alone would more than disqualify them. You can technically say it's not Milwaukee, but since everyone in Milwaukee(and the rest of the state) roots for the Packers in the NFL I would still count it
