but how much depends on your ability to contain Robinson.

Robinson is the key, and I think bama struggles with him, if he can complete a few big passes, UM can win, and I think they will.

I hope you are right RYNO. Ijust don't see this unless Bama shoots themselves in the foot with a shitload of To's.

But doubt it sadly. Think it's gonna be closer than people are giving them credit for, but not on top. In either case I'll be there

Michigan is a hungry team bro. Hoke has them believing. plus they get a whole offseason to load up for one big SHOT at the champs. I don't see Saban's teams being all that hungry after winning the crystal.

Except there's a lot of players that were on the 2010 that remember what their mistakes were and they aren't going to let it happen again.

I agree with ALL of this. BUT Mich does not have enough depth and or overall talent that Bama has.

Mich will keep it close for a half but Bama will wear them down in the 2nd half.

I just don't understand why the majority of Tigerdroppings expects this game to be a blowout.

Big 10 hate. I expect Alabama to win, but this early in the season, it will be a boring 10 point game.

Michigan didn't beat anybody good last year. They had a nice year, but I think their best win was Nebraska, who was barely ranked in the top 25 last year. I think people are still not sure that Michigan is very good despite their nice record last year.

Also, you have to be worried about Michigan's lines of scrimmage matching up against Alabama's. It looks like an extreme mismatch on both sides of the ball, don't you think? That is a recipe for a lopsided game, even if the skill players are comparable.

Finally, many believe Saban's defense will neutralize Robinson and Michigan relies HEAVILY on Robinson. One dimensional offenses really struggle against Saban's style of defense.

It just doesn't look like a good matchup for Michigan.

Why do you think it will be close?

Really? Alabama lost their superstar runningback who accounted for 2000 over yards, their top 2 WRs and starting TE. There is no reason to think Alabama's offense will be good.

Not to mention half their defense is gone including 3/4 of the secondary?

It really is staggering how little you understand about Alabama. Your stupidity is just breathtaking.

Please tell me you'll be here to answer to this after the game.

around here that is a contrarian opinion. most bama folks are convinced their offense will be extraordinary this year

Ok you fricking michigan homer..you obviously dont see it. But us neutral fans can. All denard likes to do is either, hold on to the ball, tuck and run, or B throwing jump balls deep down field..bama's secondary is going to have alot of chances to pick off alot of balls..They will knock them down or pick them off.. plain and simple. Bama 35-17 Book that shite verlander..
