I dont think everyone could adjust. But the game wasn't nearly as physical as people make it out to be. It was the highest scoring era in the history of basketball, so there obviously wasn't carnage out there. Many of today's elite scorers' numbers might actually go up playing 80s basketball.

In the mid 80s the average team scored 111 ppg

It was extremely physical once the playoffs started

He certainly isn't "hard".

And notice you left out "flopping bitch".

I love how so many bitch about players that "flop". All players have been and will continue to do it. It is not just a certain few who "flop". They all do and that includes the great MJ.

Hacking was awful. Nothing was a foul.
lol hacking insinuates giving actual effort on D. They gave little to no effort on defense.

I love MJ, but since he gave his Hall of Fame speech blasting his high school coach for cutting him as a sophomore, he hasn't done anything but belittle everyone around him.

Define hard. He certainly wasn't a bitch when he beat the heat with a driving layup. Or a game tying dunk in a game 7 with 20 seconds left.

And flopping, really? Dirk doesn't flop more than anyone else in todays NBA.

He is a very good player.

Ok? So he is a flopper. What is the problem?

Quick question...could players be equally as physical on offense?

If so Lebron would have killed a few people.

I know. I know. I had to look twice when he said he would put Dirk on that list.

And by Bad Boys you mean bad "at defense so they had to resort to clothes lining every man that beat them off the dribble" boys

Dirk hasn't cared since he won the title. He should just retire

As far as Durant, no one from that era would be able to check him

Fair enough. Hey, I'm just referring to it being a "knock you on your arse if you beat me off the dribble" League.
