quote:

JORDAN PLAYS his new favorite trivia game, asking which current players could be nearly as successful in his era. "Our era," he says over and over again, calling modern players soft, coddled and ill-prepared for the highest level of the game. This is personal to him, since he'll be compared to this generation, and since he has to build a franchise with this generation's players.

"I'll give you a hint," he says. "I can only come up with four."

He lists them: LeBron, Kobe, Tim Duncan, Dirk Nowitzki. As he's making his point, Yvette walks into the living room area and, in a tone of voice familiar to every husband who argues sports with his buddies, asks, "You guys need anything?"

That's pretty fair. Those 4 have the most unique talents in the game and are tough players

CP3 is a soft flopping bitch, so excluding him is a good call.

he sounds bitter. Poverty point guards of the 90s would get dominated today

MJ is losing it. No Kevin Garnett? Even naming players gives credence to his ridiculous argument

There are so many players that should make that list Kevin Durant, D wade, Kevin Garnett in his prime, D-rose, James Harden wouldn't be a star but a 20 ppg scorer, Rajon Rondo, Cp3, and Kyrie Irving when he devolps further

Well if that is the argument, Big 0, Chamberlain and Russell would chew up MJ and spit him out. He won a championship with two of the most volatile, weak minded players ever on his team
