The last 2 weekends I've been watching boxing non stop old and new fights and it all sparked from the build up of the mayweather PPV.

Anyone else pick it back up lately?

I mean I can't get enough, the GGG fight was outstanding.

I really didn't even think about watching boxing the last 10-15 years and it all just happened.

I am trying to grasp the belts and multiple champions but it's hard to follow.

You made a wise choice. There's a lot to be excited about in boxing right now.

Despite what mainstream media will tell you, there is so much more to boxing than Mayweather and Pacquiao. In fact, the sooner they retire the better.

Boxing for the last three years has been amazing. It is doing great in the ratings on a consistent basis as well regardless of what the "boxing is dying" crowd tells you.

I have enjoyed boxing for a long time, regardless of what the media says.

I also do not own an Affliction t-shirt.

Same here.

I listen to Max Kellerman on the radio every day, and he's as good a boxing historian as there is IMO. Really hearing his enthusiasm on a daily basis got me back into boxing. I've heard him rave about Golovkin, Lomachenko and Chocalatito for a while but hadn't really seen them live until lately.

There's a lot to be excited about in the sport. I got HBO just to see the Golovkin fight. I'd only seen youtube clips until Saturday.

I started workouts involving a punching bag. Went out and bought gloves too.

I appreciate the sport. Wish the heavyweights came back tho.

Hopefully Deontay wilder could make a solid run.

I have actually bought the Fight Night champion boxing game and started watching some too. It definitely re sparked my interest, as I used to be a huge boxing fan. After Roy Jones, Lennox Lewis, Tyson etc retired I quit watching. Im really not much of a big UFC fan because I hate the ground fricking that they do, so im actually thinking of getting back all the way into boxing, because I love stand up fights.

I think one of the biggest issues with boxing is you don't get to see it much other than the big fights. Other than that I barely see it on TV unless you have HBO or Showtime

That's changed. Now they are showing good fights on CBS, fox, NBC, Tru tv, espn, etc. Al Michaels and Marv Albert are back on the major networks on boxing telecasts.

For the past 2 weeks the Canelo vs Kirkland and Figueroa vs Burns fights have been favorites.

Amir Khan fights weekend after next.

I got to admit I have been tuning into HBO boxing after dark the last month or so. Probably will start watching showtime too

The Mayweather Pac fight has sparked some interest in boxing for me. I don't know that much about it but have really enjoyed watching some of these latest fights.

And no bullshite, I rather read about a good boxing match than watch a UFC fight. It has a ton of fans so more power to it, but UFC is the worst shite I've ever watched in my life.

I'm glad you would rather read about a good boxing match but if you want to watch good fights UFC is way better these days. People that shite on the UFC only do so because they haven't watched enough.

They both have good and bad. I used to watch pretty much only boxing. Then about 10 years ago a Brazilian friend of mine got me in to UFC and showed me some of the nuances. It's a great sport, but boxing is coming back around.

Some of the promoters are seeing that people will watch if they make good matchups. Even Kilitschko came back over to the U.S. and got all he could handle in his last fight.
