do not believe the Rangers are interested in Soriano

yea but you also based this off an antiquated view of his attitude/personality.

I think you're right and it's not sori, but i doubt the rangers have written him off for the things you've previously cited.

Becasuse there are a lot of cubs fans in here...Kris Bryant won the golden spikes award, which should come as no surprise.

No...I think there's bad feelings from when he was on the Rangers the last time.

And they aren't antiquated views. I live up here and I don't know many Cubs fans that like watching him play.

I really have no idea who the 2nd Cub will be. Schierholtz is a left handed bat and we really need a right hander, which Soriano fits. Other than that it could be a throw in player by the Cubs.

Well that's because they base it on salary. Anyone who says he's dogging it out ther isn't paying attention. Also, fans are generally stupid, especially when they're looking for a scapegoat.

I bet those same folks loved campana.

But he does...all the time. It's no secret. He did it all the time when he was with the Rangers too.

But I'm not debating Soriano again. I've said my thoughts.

I just know he's not going to the Rangers.

No he doesn't. He's an aging heads up ball player who managers and teamates love.

To each their own. Agree to disagree. No one is going to win this debate

Should be an interesting trade. I'd be pumped to get Garza. He would be a good addition for the stretch run.

ETA: I'm entitled to my opinion. If you're just going to call me stupid, stop using quotes and just straight up call me stupid. No need to beat around the bush.

They're saying the deal is pretty much done. Looks like we're sending much more than Olt and CJ.

What do you think of my prediction above:

Ramirez, Sardinas, Edwards and a throw in for Garza and Nate.

I don't think I was beating around the bush. You are entitled to your opinion. It is a completely ignorant opinion and to anyone who knows baseball and has actually watched the Cubs play in say the last few years knows that you are clueless as to what the hell you are talking about.

No one said he isn't overpaid. Good fans knew these years at the end would be rough but were necessary to have him we when did, then he got hurt, shite happens. That has nothing to do with the misguided belief that he's a bad/lazy teamate/player.

No longer debating this. I won't change your opinion and you won't change mine. It is what it is.
