I think at most, it should be 20 with play-in games for the opponents of the top 4 seeds. But there weren't that many snubs this year. Hofstra for sure and maybe Army.

19-6, one of the most lopsided games I've seen. Duke's top face off guy was 18-24 and there were periods up to 8 minutes where I wouldn't even hear the name of a Duke defender.

What's going on with Syracuse-Yale? Rain delay?

SO here we go for the weekend:
Saturday:
Notre Dame v. Denver
and
Ohio State v. Duke

Sunday:
Maryland v. Albany
Towson v. Syracuse

Not a bad game to be had, IMO.

Not sure, watching them these last couple years, I seem to recall that their program is quite young in Div. I.

Watching the replays tonight, first time OSU makes championship weekend.
Denver was a juggernaut, wow, just an amazing display.

Why is the women's field marked also? Are the women having their finals at same stadium this year?

Yeah, the women's D1 is at the same venue on the same weekend. Their semis were yesterday & the championship is tomorrow.

If the NCAA would wise up, they'd go to a slightly smaller stadium & put all 3 divisions of both men's & women's on the same weekend. Attendance would be increased & the stadium won't be half empty.

D II and DIII are at the same venue and time. It's all at Gillette.

Terps took care of business against an outstanding Denver team, might they finally get the monkey off of their back?

Been trying to get into Lacrosse. I think it is a pretty cool sport but I never see any games on TV. Here in South Carolina, Clemson or South Carolina doesn't have a lacrosse team but a number of DII schools do. However, I am excited for Limestone College (school I attended) is going for their 3rd NC in the last 4 years. I don't think it will ever happen but I would love to see them play against some of the DI schools just to see how they would match up against bigger programs.

Get SlingTv. They'll have about 25 good games to watch during the season.

The Bucks and Terps split the season series, both OT games.

Should be a good one.

Both South Carolina & Clemson have teams, fairly good ones. No, they aren't NCAA D1/Varsity. They're MCLA D1 & quite good. Both run as a virtual varsity, like most of the Top 40-50 squads at that level.

Limestone has been a quality program for years. Something about that campus draws lots of northern players to play this glorious game. You'll never see the D1 schools takes on the D2/D3s of the world, outside of any fall ball or exhibition play. The risk/reward just isn't there.

Plenty of lacrosse airs on the ESPN family of networks/ESPN3, Big Ten Network, & also the Pac-12 Network. Enjoy.

Seems like the SEC should get more into lacrosse. It's pretty big in the ACC. It makes sense as a spring sport. I know we have baseball and that's huge down here, but I think there's a place for it.
