Personally I don't feel bad for many addicts of any addiction. I'm a huge believer in personal responsibility. At some point you made that decision and that's the consequences you knew of. No sweat off my back

I feel sorry for those who life has thrown a monkey wrench at them, either through being born into poverty, a bad accident, disease, plain tough luck. For one who has had every opportunity and more afforded to him, money, status, opportunity on top of opportunity, family...and he blows it? Sorry.

I don't think it's a stretch to say Josh Gordon's connection with Johnny Manziel is a main component on the league dragging its feet on reinstating him despite the fact that he's been clean apparently for the full suspension

I think it's a stretch.

I watched the Todd marinovch 30 for 30 last night and it was so damn eerily similar to what JFF is doing.

How much of a signing bonus, plus one year in the league did his contract pay him? For being 22 years old or whatever, one could definitely make the argument that he's 'won'. Now, he could continue winning with another contract or just sit on the money he's made already.

I am not sure he is an addict to anything. He just is a young spoiled rich kid who has never answered for anything he has done. He likes to party and act like a 22 year old kid. Rehab will not help him cause he is not ready to stop partying. He basically needs to grow up before he ends up hurting some innocent person because of him being a selfish little brat.

I concur; I fully believe in personal responsibility, which he has none. I was a 23 year old "kid" being a middle-level manager. Just because mommy and daddy knocked boots and you came out does not mean you've "won". As a higher level manager, if I party and am seen on video, I could easily lose my job. Manziel has seen more money in two years than I will likely ever see; because of that, he will never get it. He should have been taught this at ages 3 and 4, not at 23. He is a 23 year old adult who has yet to be held responsible. From a maturity level, yes, he is a kid.
