Many NFL Players Want Thursday Games To Disappear

So, why don't they just let teams play their Thursday game after a bye week?

Thursday games are shite... for everyone... if the really want a game on NFLN get rid of thursday games, move MNF to NFL Network.

They also announced today that the London games will be played at 9:30 our time next year, even though nobody except people who need to line their pockets with cash wants it.
They're going to continue to saturate the market with their product until people stop watching. Are you ready to do that? If you don't like Thursday Night games, then don't watch. That's the only way things change. The two teams playing tonight are crap, and they don't even have good fantasy players. You won't miss anything.

They get paid millions. They should shut up and play when told to play. They are there for the fans' amusement, not what makes them comfortable.

I'm with you... even if that only means 8 or so Th night games, just make sure the two teams playing have their bye the week before.
Plus the first week of the season too, so that's another Th night game.

I find it interesting that a league that "cares" about player safety wants teams to play 2 games in 5 days.

As someone with kids, I don't have time to watch football on Thursday nights...too busy yelling at my kids to finish homework, take showers, pick up their crap off the floor, etc...I don't think I have watched any Thursday night football this year.
Simple solution would be to have two teams that had a bye on the same week play each other the following Thursday.

NFL and College Presidents are the most hypocritical bunch out there...
Player safety, player safety...yet 16 games and 12 in college won't be touched, along with mid-week games.
And no one, no one calls them out for it.

I don't get why you guys don't like football on Thursday.
I mean, I understand from a player and coach perspective... but from a fan perspective, why would you not like more football?
