South Lake Charles vs Eastbank tomorrow @6
Eastbank trying to repeat last years performance of beating SLC twice to win title. Winner goes to Waco for a chance at Willamsport.

Gotta love two sarcastic replies that are too cool for Little League but also clicked on the thread titled "Louisiana Little League."

I'm more worried about Legion state this weekend...

Us, Jesuit, Hahnville, Opelousas, Holy Cross, Dutchtown, Abbeville, and East St. John are in it

LL requires all of its participants to play in 50% (or more) of league games.

But yes, most of those teams are made up of Tournament Teams that play together before league starts.

Just wish Denham Springs would join LL.

Our local all-star team scrimmaged the Eastbank team earlier this summer. I spoke to a few of the dads from their team and most of them play on the same travel ball team year round.

What parishes participate in Little League in Louisiana? All we have around here is Dixie. BTW, Monroe All Stars won state and have moved on to the World Series.

There are a few but they are spread out. We're in Dixie here too.

Which age group Monroe team won state? Our 12s just won Regional tourney last night to move on to best 2/3 for state title.

Either Boys or Majors. They've really put together a great program. They seem to win state every year and have won the Dixie World Series several times I believe.

Must be Dixie Boys because the Majors state tournament (best 2 out of 3) is this coming weekend.
