What parishes participate in Little League in Louisiana? All we have around here is Dixie. BTW, Monroe All Stars won state and have moved on to the World Series.

Was wondering the same thing. Most everyone in NOLA is Dixie, Dizzy Dean, Babe Ruth, USSSA, Cal Ripken

The only actual LL I know of is Pilney who plays at Lafrenairre park and that was a decade or more ago.

Bossier Dixie goes to the World Series all the time. Hell they hosted it a couple years back. 13 year olds won and 14 got second

Ok that's the high school age kids. I'm talking about the 12 year olds which fall under the same Dixie Major name classification. Good luck to that "Monroe" team!

how are these little league all star teams able to compete with kids playing travel ball?

Those LL teams ARE tournament teams that play league ball too.

Yes. St. Mary's still does. It's BIGTIME down there. Morgan City even tore down the historic "Swamp Gardens " to put more baseball fields.

SLC has a pipeline and great tradition going back to the late 80s/early 90s

Some badass teams and players have come through there
