Barbe vs Covington
West Monroe vs Haughton
Jesuit vs Catholic
Sulphur vs Ruston
Brother Martin vs Denham Springs
Comeaux vs Sam Houston
Hahnville vs Zachary
St. Amant vs Destrehan

Which teams make it to Tulane?

In before Barbe then everyone else.

I will never say this if Jesuit is still in the field.

WM could be a potential challenge in third round. Rebs can hit. Sulphur pitcher shut them out but they won't see the same pitcher most likely if they meet again. Zachary is another team that could challenge them beating Barbe 3 out of last 4 match ups.

Just glad we don't have the LHSAA trying to decide who plays for the Ship this year.

Is that program still the douchiest baseball team in the state?

I haven't really followed Catholic much this year, but isn't aren't they supposed to be really good this year? I know I heard that they have a new awesome SS

How bout 5A softball? Was checking to see how NCHS did and saw Sam Houston was a 19 seed and gave up 3 runs in the playoffs waxing teams they had lost to earlier in the season

Don't really know a whole lot about the teams this year, but based on history and my gut, I'll go with Barbe, Jesuit, Martin, and St. Amant.

Sam Houston's pitcher and best player, Corbello (LSU signee) was out most of the year but came back in time for the playoffs just in time to roll to title #3 in a row.

That would explain that then. I don't keep up with softball but wouldn't expect them to be 3 time champions

That should be good for LSU though

I don't really pay much attention to it either, but she is a friend of the family so that's how I know.

Pretty impressive career, she lost the state title game freshman year, then won it the next three.

I will see Monday if Zachery is still a bunch of douches, they come to Hahnville. Last time they came to Turchin the team and fans were by far the worst.
I think you will see Barbe, Bro Mart, St Amant, for sure. Not sold on Jesuit and Hahnville-Zachery will bea good game. Dont know enough about the others.

I only saw Jesuit once this year, when they lost to Shaw and struck out 17 times. I know Hahnville beat them and BM earlier this year

Went to the Zachary v. Airline game last week as I went to Airline a few years back. Zachary is still as douchy as they always have been. They all have bleached blonde shaved heads and don't shut up.

You obviously weren't there last year for Rummel.

Some teams grow playoff beards, they decide to go blonde and shaved. Since when is talking not allowed at a baseball game?
