Again, it was a clever ploy but a douche move.
No way. That is perfectly acceptable in match play on all levels of golf. Kid seems like a huge douche, but that was a good golf move.

I haven't read the article yet, but I will.

I rooted against Pat Reed most of last year after his "top 5" comments, but I knew he'd be good for our Ryder Cup teams. Why? Because under that type of pressure you want somebody out there with confidence in themselves. No one will ever doubt if Reed has confidence in himself or not.

Some of the highlighted stories I've read in this thread wouldn't mean much if they stood by themselves. I think the issue is there are many stories that paint the picture of Pat Reed. If he will simply eat a slice of humble pie instead of the chocolate pie that he apparently loves, things will work out better for him in the long run.

Sounds like a real awesome guy. I never understood the supreme arrogance that ahtletes have. You are hitting a tiny white ball in a tiny hole. Its of no real importannce to the world.

Because you and most men would give one testicle, three fingers, some toes, and an ear to change positions with him

There is a big difference between feeling lucky about your situation and being arrogant.

I know. But you asked why athletes are arrogant. It is pretty obvious why. 99.99% of the worlds population wants to be them

I have to give the baw credit for the scores he shot this week. It's hard to shoot as well as he did playing with someone as bad as Tiger.

This article/ thread reminds me of Ryan Theriot when he was at LSU.

Ppl just jealous of successful confident athletes.

He's one of the top handful of golfers in the world (10, 20, 30, whatever). Are you one of the top 10, 20, or 30 people in the world at whatever it is that you do? Millions of people play golf and only a small few of those millions can compete with Pat Reed. Once again, is there anything in your life that you do that puts you in the top 0.05 percent of the world?

Ran into him a few times in high school and he didn't seem too bad just a little cocky. But everything I've heard about him after he left BR was that he is a POS. Now reading this article about his family and I kind of hate him now.

That led to the seventh hole, where Uihlein conceded a short par putt to Reed, and Reed refused to return the favor when Uihlein’s birdie attempt rolled up next to the hole. Uihlein, annoyed, stood over his putt and missed. The annoyance turned to rage as he swatted the ball into the nearby water, and Reed, now 4-up, knew he’d won the mental game.

Let's be honest, there's no way he's cheating on the PGA tour. He's got 4 wins under 25, and probably gonna win a major in the next year or so. People didn't like jack when he was beating up on Arnie, and look how that worked out. Who cares what this kid did in college? I watch him to see power through the slot. Don't care about his college teammate's feelings. Don't care about his coach at GA. Don't care about his tramp wife. Don't care about his addiction to carbs. Torque and horsepower are what I like. PatBaw delivers on both fronts.

The selective hate on here is amazing. Tiger so much makes a right hand turn without signaling and here come the same group of people talking about how awful of a person he is.
