He could do a lot better with the money he's working with. His choker is pretty fly though. Add another cool point to his résumé

Let's be honest, there's no way he's cheating on the PGA tour.

Why do you say this? Tiger has cheated multiple times, wouldn't surprise me if some others are doing the same

There are a lot of quotes from players and other teammates and no one seems to have a nice thing to say about him. I knew from watching him on TV that he had an attitude, but this article goes into a lot of depth about his past. Things I had never heard about. It would suck to be famous and have people dig throug

The problem is that a lot of us that knew him aren't shy about talking about him. Was he kind of a dick? Yes. But he didn't rub me the wrong way nearly as much as some other people.

how do you have someone kicked out of a tourney for watching? She must be crazy.

quote:

If Shane Ryan's excellent work on Patrick Reed and his family from last week didn't convince that there's something amiss on the home front, then this will.

Alan Shipnuck of Sports Illustrated tackled the Reed and Co. story and unearthed this nugget from the archives of last year's major season when Reed's estranged parents tried to watch their son at Pinehurst.

"A friend of Bill and Jeannette's had extra tickets to the 2014 U.S. Open, so with some trepidation, they went to Pinehurst No. 2 and followed Patrick throughout the second round."

"Justine (Reed's wife) was also in the gallery, but no words were exchanged. Walking up the 18th hole, Bill, Jeannette and Hannah were surrounded by police officers. They ultimately were escorted off the grounds and had their tournament badges confiscated by a USGA official who, according to Jeannette, said he was acting on Justine's wishes."

Whoa, that's some heavy stuff. And it lines up with what Ryan wrote in his piece.

It's a bummer that all of this is coming to light for Reed at a time when he's flourishing on the course so thoroughly.

Surely there's more to the story and hopefully it's a tale that has a good ending. But for now, it doesn't seem like everything is well behind the scenes for Reed and his family.

Patrick introduced himself to strangers by saying things like, “I’m Patrick Reed, and I’ll kick the shite out of you at golf any time you want,”

Hmmm my interactions with him were limited. But I do know some people who have mentioned that he would openly brag about how much better at golf he was than them. The dude was far from humble.

Man this is a kind of crazy story. I've met him many of times. Played with him. Is he an arse sometimes? Absolutely. Will he tell u how great he is? Yep. But to the point where people hate him? Naw.

This seems like a hey this guy has baggage lets get everything and write a story because Tiger and Phil arent cutting it anymore. It's a shame too. All these writers can write anything they want and nothing happens to them because rarely do people actually try to prove them wrong. They'll just brush it off. Not saying everything in this article is wrong. But I know for a fact some are

There are two reasons to concede putts in match play. If they come up short on a putt. You concede most of the time. Even at 2-3 feet. You almost always make them putt if they putt long. It gets stuck in their head that a short putt is conceded thus helping you.
