Jimmy and Klay are the only ones that I would consider putting over Wade in your list.

Steph is 1 by a massive margin this season.

Let me guess, this must be based on their respective teams' win totals

Steph is a much better shooter than Lebron. He is not a better rebounder, passer, or defender than Lebron. Lebron is still the overall better player.
Uhhh...

Per36 to put them on an even basis (LeBron plays 35.6 mpg, Curry 34.0)

Rebounding:

LeBron: 7.4
Curry: 5.7

Assists:

LeBron: 6.6
Curry: 7.0

Points:

LeBron: 25.3
Curry: 32.0

True Shooting Percentage:

LeBron: 57.7%
Curry: 67.3% (holy shitballs)

PER:

LeBron: 26.9
Curry: 32.0

2pt%/3pt%/FT%:

LeBron: 56.6% / 28.9% / 72.1%
Curry: 57.4% / 45.3% / 90.4%

I mean, I think I'd take Curry's scoring, shooting, distributing, and overall ability to stretch the defense over LeBron's extra 1.7 rebounds more per game than Curry. Curry's numbers are fricking insane, and it's one of the main reasons his team is 65-7 and on track to break the all-time record of wins in a season.

Curry is the best. Kawhi is the second best player in the league right now, though.

Wade is no longer top 10 and hasn't been for a few years now, Cousins is too high

Wade has had a pretty good season quietly.

Cousins would be insanely good if he got the hell out of Sacramento.

This is an interesting take given your fluffing of Whiteside.

Hassan Whiteside should be nowhere near this list.

there are not 20 players in the NBA that have as much an impact on a game than he does. he plays 29 minutes a game and leads his team in rebounds, leds the entire league in blocks.. by one and a half. and is second on his team in points. By comparison De'Andre Jordan who just got paid out the arse by clippers and everyone makes a big fuss over, avgs 35 mins a game and 2.3 blocks a game. Unlike Jordan however, he shoots a semi respectable 64% from the line

he's going to be a superstar in the next 2 years.

No I'm basing it on my own two eyes and simple statistical comparison. Curry's ability to efficiently generate points this season is unparalleled historically speaking. I'm not stepping out on a limb saying that he's been better than Lebron the last year or two. Lebron's shooting 29 percent from the 3 point line this year. He's not the player he was during his Heat years. It would be miraculous if he was though considering how great he was. It's not disrespecting Lebron to say he's not as good right now as Curry.

Mmmkay...your list is a sham and this thread is evidence.

DeMacrus Cousins is not the fourth best player in the league or his team would be worth a shite.

Whiteside would be a starter if he was top 20...but he's such an insufferable teammate that he had to be on the second unit and playing against second units to be at his peak value.

Forgetting basketball is one thing, understanding it is another

Anyone who says Curry is better than Lebron is a moron. Lebron is dragging a team of retards to the 1 seed.

Steph Curry is on a completely stacked team that is perfectly constructed to play in the 2016 NBA, and doesn't even have to expend any energy on defense (not that there would be any point, since he has no defensive skill). Lebron is the most complete player of all time and Steph Curry is a better version of peak-Steve Nash.

LeBron has Kevin Love, Kyrie Irving, Iman Shumpert, JR Smith, Timofey Mozgov, Tristan Thompson, etc.

Those are good players... not even close to a "team of retards".

Cousins could be a top 5 player in the league if he adjusted his game and attitude. You're a 6'11" C who shoots 20x a game and makes 44% of your shots. That kills your team. His shot selection sucks but he doesnt give a shite, as long as he gets his shots and as long as his box score says 25 a night

that's not even getting started on his attitude. Loafs on defense, calls out his coach publicly, cries about every call against him, gets suspended. His attitude is terrible and he isnt a winning player.

Do you think he has a positive influence on his team? Seriously? Let's not pretend this has just sprouted up this year. It has been ongoing for years. He needs to be a #2 guy on a team with a coach to put him in check, along with strong veteran leadership around him.

As far as Whiteside, at least he has proven to want to work on his deficiencies. His overall defense and team defense has improved markedly over the last 3 months. You want to use the numbers earlier in the season, look at them now. Look at the ones i posted on page 2. You cant deny it. HIs future is bright.
