His shot selection has improved from last season as he has dropped some of the long twos and started shooting threes. He is far and away the best driving big man in the league, 15th in the league on drives to the basket, no 4/5 is even close...again, further aided by being able to pull players out beyond the 3pt line.

He shoots 20x/game...so what? The Kings have the highest pace in the league and who else in that regular starting lineup is supposed to shoot the ball other than Rudy Gay?

Sure, but lets not pretend he is Dirk. He has fringe range. 20shots wouldn't be a problem if he were more efficient. His team isn't totally devoid of guys that are capable of scoring. shite, Rondo, Gay, Collison, Casspi, & McLemore all score at a higher clip than Cousins on 2point FGs too.

Yes he is a good driving big man too, but he can catch the ball on the wing and still draw fouls without hoisting long jumpers or 3's.
