I'd turn that shite field on Severn into a stadium. Screw the neighbors. Every other stadium in tbe city has neighborhoods.

I remember leaving school at the end of the day and going pluck those “No Stadium” signs from in front of those dickheads houses. Good times.

It’ll never happen with those people around there.

Airline was down 7-16 at half and scored 26 unanswered for 33-16.

With their smaller size these days they really wouldn’t even need a ton of seats.

When was the last time you’ve been to a Rummel game….

In ‘19 when they won state, Yulman’s bottom section was packed from end zone to end zone with Rummel people…. Same student body size today.

Last weeks BM game, Yenni was pretty much full on Rummel’s side…

What happened to Ouachita? They were at least an average to good 5A school in the 80,90s,2010s. OCS blows them out. They got the brakes beat off them by Ruston. There always seemed to be a lot of talent in that area. How does a small private school beat a team like Ouachita? I’ll admit, I graduated from Byrd in the early 90s, but still keep up with north La HS football. Never expected to see Ouachita go downhill that bad Eta: In the 80s were 4A Sorry I’ll delete my topic thread

Reminder, they beat Rummel. Richwood reopened 15-20 years ago. Note: the new Richwood has a dome run since the last OPHS dome run. That and Sterlington emerged. Their 3 year starting qb tore his acl in the Neville game. They’re now starting a freshman at qb so they literally have no offense at all. There defense has a lot of young talent but is coached by an imbecile that thinks he’s way better than he is. They’re 2 DT’s are D1 quality and just sophomores. They’re TE is 6’7” 250 and couldn’t catch a cold yet they keep him there. He should be at DE killing QB’s.

On their last drive, by 1, to a depleted Rummel defense…

First game of the season after Rummel had a five hour bus ride…

I’ve never been one to blame refs for being terrible, but this one takes the cake

Walker down 14-0 and forces St Amant to punt on 4th and 3. Bad snap and the St Amant punter has to run back and pick it up. He gets the punt away (no one touches it), but it doesn’t get back to the line of scrimmage and a St Amant player downs it.

So, 1st down for Walker, right? Nope! The Refs confer and somehow let St Amant re-kick it on 4th down from the previous spot.

What the frick?

Now, Walker foiled the terrible refs by Bardales housing the punt return for a TD, but geez, can you be any more obvious?

Actually I just checked the rule and a punt that doesn’t reach the LOS can be advanced by either team.

Wouldn’t that be a nice trick play? Purposely kick a ball to your player behind the LOS and he can run like it’s a pass.

How many stadiums are available for all the schools to play in on Thursday or Friday nights?

I think it is also a chance to play in a college stadium. I seemed to remember that Rummel was fed up with the situation that public schools get first crack at Yenni so Rummel’s only option there are Saturday games.

What year did you get out? My nephew did the same, he was in the Katrina Class of ‘06…

It’s funny, I was living on Severn at the time further down, just past W. Metairie and had a support the stadium sign up. Ironic, now I live in direct sight of the field in the same neighborhood that had all the anti stadium signs. I think my neighbor was the one who kicked off the no stadium BS.

I guess I’m comparing to late 90s when their student body was pushing 1400. It’s half that today
