St aug will always bitch about refs, but never admit to be one of most undisciplined HS football teams in the NOLA area year in and year out

And still have more titles than Rummel

Yep, definitely pathetic... If Otis Washington would have coached longer than 10yrs things would be different... You know we have the right man on the job...

And Otis done more in less than half the time

I really don't know just yet. You can't tell me there isn't a kid walking the halls that can't kick an extra point. Always going for 2 won't work at this level.

Crutch is currently developing a ton of youngsters on the come up... The 2015/16/17 class will school what David Johnson left behind...

Here's a question, is there anyway to really complain to someone about some of the articles they put out on the games? I've seen several with wrong scores, wrong stats, etc and it makes me think where they even pull it from.

they pull it from young reporters who are paid too little or not even at all and don't have relationships with the statisticians for each team

I suppose that makes sense. Shame high school sports aren't better supported here in Louisiana like they are in surrounding states.

We definitely had some discipline issues which is expected at times with a new staff... But I'll be damned if that call during our 1st possession of the game didn't screw up our emotions... Especially right after we just stopped Rummel...

Like I said, I did attend the game. Rummel dominated 95% of the game. The only bad play Rummel had was the 60 yard td run by Fournette. If you think that the call during the 1st possession of the game caused St. Aug's "emotions" to mess up the whole rest of the game then they have bigger problems.

As far as the onside kick goes, every single player on the field stopped when the whistle blew including the kid who picked it up to try and run it back for a TD. It would have been a sham of a touchdown and if the whistle wouldn't have blown Rummel looked like they had a very good chance to recover the ball.

St. Aug got beat by a better team.

EDIT: Rummel's defense lost one of their best linebackers too during the game and he didn't play the second half.

Stats seem to contradict that statement.

I guess Rummel had short fields due to poor special teams by St Aug, thus the stats looked even.

Rummel's second touchdown was set up by a bad punt snap by Aug... they started at the 9

Rummel also got a 96 yard pick six in the fourth quarter

It was one of those games where one team capitalized and also perfected a game plan... Roth took good notes at AUG/BM game... He wasn't about to let the 2010 beat down happen again... Crutch has taken his medicine... Let's see who can get to that state title first... I know it's not going to take him 18yrs to do it

St Aug got garbage yards.

and Aug's 2nd TD came on a short field.

Aug prob had 250 relevant yards, and 60 came on 1 run by Fournette.
