Jackson is more injury prone to me, is older (34), and has missed 22/128 games in his career. He always seems like he's injured, but plays through it.

His tread is low, but his age is a big factor going forward. CJ Spiller's injury history is a big issue as well.

I like FJax, but he's nothing more than a situational player at this point in his career.

or did team Kelly tip him off in exchange for a hit piece on Roseman

Wouldn't be the first time they tipped off the papers for a hit piece before a big trade.

That's why I said paired with a FA or rookie. You'd get 2 running backs who can get the job done almost as well as McCoy for half the price, plus you get to keep Alonso.

Kinda crazy. Player for player deals in nfl so rare these days. I feel like these are the two highest profile players traded for each other in a really long time.

I just want him to admit he doesn't follow the NFL so its dumb to be surprised by anything that happened. It would be like me being surprised at who won the Oscar for best foreign film. Anyone that has watched the NFL for at least 2 years knows who Kiko Alonso is. Also he is supposed to be a Washington CFB fan. Just saying.......

You would be surprised at how many people don't know who Kiko Alonso is. Even those who "follow the NFL." One good season with the Bills does not a household name make.

I agree, not a household name. But if you follow the NFL you know him. He was probably the most talked about defensive player for the first half of the season 2 years ago.

I like the move by the Eagles. LBs have a much longer shelf life in NFL, and Lesean McCoy seems like a back that could go down at any moment. Kiko will be elite for years to come IMO

Probably since Champ Bailey and Clinton Portis.

That Logan Mankins for Tim Wright trade was a blockbuster

Kind of funny whenever Kiko is the one coming off knee surgery

I follow the NFL and have never heard of him. Granted I live in Alabama, so all i ever get to see are the Titans and the fricking Failcon games. (frick Atlanta).

Well this just got a little more interesting

quote:

CBS' Jason La Canfora reports new Bills RB LeSean McCoy is expected to "make noise about wanting an extension," and could even threaten to decline to report to training camp. Per La Canfora, the Bills are "bracing for that already." A trade is a perfect time to angle for a new deal, but already due at least $6.9 million each of the next four seasons, Shady isn't going to get it. McCoy will likely/understandably be sour about the deal for some time, but he's going to work for one of the league's great salesmen in Rex Ryan. By the time camp rolls around, Shady should be hungry to prove he's still one of the game's best offensive players.

Kelly brought in Russell Shepard for tryouts because he recruited him out of high school. He is infatuated with players that he knew in the past.
