So you truly think there is a player that could have won this finals?

Klay played like a bonafide scrub. Still got it done somehow.
Did you see the differences in talent levels? Besides Klay still had better stats than D-Wade.

I would tell you shooting 52% from the field when you have no teammates whatsoever isnt possible. That is the point. It is a pipe dream to say there is a player that could have led this team to a championship. An absolute impossible scenario

Playing a team without there number 2 and 3 helps. I mean go down the line of finals and take out teams 2 and 3 and they sound like a joke

Take away Parker and ginobli
take away bosh and wade
take away kobe and fisher
take away gasol and bynum
take about clyde and cassell
take away Pippen and horace
take away pippen and rodman
take away stockton and hornacek
take away Baker and Schrempf

All those teams become very pedestrian

After wade, I would think Bosh their third best player is better than any of the Warriors minus curry.

Oh wait, another excuse Spurs were on a different level. It doesn't end.

So you think there is a player that could average 70 points, on 50%, while getting 13 rebs and 9 assist a game? That is what you are implying

They should have never traded Wiggins and Bennett for Love. Thats on LBJ, he wanted that trade

If Love doesnt get Olcynyked I think they win the title. So short term I think it was a good deal. Long term it isnt

I'm not sure Love will give you no where near the offensive rebounds TT gave the Cavs. A couple of those close games would have been blowouts.

Now for this Lebron deserves blame. I was/am a huge Wiggins fan.

They would have both been used alot with Kyrie being out. It wouldnt have been one or the other

Love gives you scoring and spacing at the least, which is something they direly lacked. Also he's someone else you can run the ball through, and gives you versatility. An elite rebounding PF with legit NBA range elite playmaking skills isn't exactly something that grows on trees.

Lebron put himself in this situation by trying to team with 2 other superstars, and when you do that you deplete the rest of your roster due to the salary cap restraints.

I mean, obviously they still wouldn't be the deepest team in the world, but I'd argue that guys like delly, shump and JR would have played much more efficiently if they only played 33-50% of the minutes that they did.

GS is just really really really lucky that Steph was injury prone and not anywhere close to this good when his rookie deal was up and it was time to sign an extension. GS doesn't have the talent or depth to do what they just did if Curry is making twice as much as he currently is. They actually benefitted from the fact that their current star wasn't all that great and had bad ankles the first few years of his career.

Curry will be the 4th highest paid player on GS for the next 2 years. That is insane.

I was a bit off.

He'll be the 5th highest paid player next year, and the 3rd highest paid the year after that.

I'm not sold on him yet. He had a very good--but not historically great--rookie season on the league's worst team. Hard to gather much from that.

The NBA is frickin stupid.

Actually all pro sports contracts are stupid.

It's Russell Wilson-esque.
