He made the most money in NBA history and couldn't shoot. That should tell you something about his athleticism. He was the most athletic 300+ pounder in basketball history.

at LSU he went coast to coast with a dunk; he couldn't shoot, but he was very athletic.

dick vitale would go crazy when he was on the court.

Joe montana

I'm not sure Montana belongs on the list. He had really quick feet and the ability to move around in the pocket. I saw somewhere that he ran a 4.7 40 yd dash at the combine (but I can't confirm that). Also, Montana got a basketball scholarship offer to NC State - he was all-state in basketball in high school.

Never ceases to amaze me how stupid this board is. Shaq had a 33 1/2 inch vertical and was the most physically agile big for his size EVER.

My list:
Basketball- Greg Oostertag, Bryant Big Country Reeves,
Football- Kurt Warner
Baseball- Kruk

Yeah, I have no idea how athletic Montana was. He was built like an accountant, though. He'd have been the Larry Bird of basketball, without question.

the horribleness in this thread is astounding. Because someone is a lazy frick and grows a pot belly while being a pro it means he has no natural talents? shite. John Kruk stole 18 bases one year when he was younger.

How about Greg Maddux? Peyton Manning?

Guy who said Shaq, commit suicide right now.

Because he wasn't naturally athletic or because he was lugging around a keg due to being a lazy arse?

It just depends what they started with. Shawn Kemp was the fattest slob ever at the end of his career but naturally we all know he was a fricking freak when he was younger.

This is a good answer imo.
