How athletic was Manute Bol? I may be thinking of late in his career, but I remember him being awkward. But very tall.

or stealing 50+ bases in one season or getting drafted by the NBA- should read the posts in the thread

already did - but being a great contact hitter alone is reason enough to be considered athletic

stealing more bases in one season than Joe Dimaggio had in his career isn't considered athletic? or winning half dozen gold gloves? being a point guard that's is drafted by the NBA?

did I say that?

(the answer is no)

my point: if you have great eye hand coordination that makes you athletic

your rebuttal: why do you hate Joe Dimaggio?

I can't believe anyone would say Charles Barkley or Rich Gannon. This has to be out of total ignorance. Gannon was a great athlete and was in the top 5 of QBs in the league at one time. Barkley was a BEAST for his size. The guy played every position in the NBA and dominated for years.

This might be the dumbest answer in this thread so far, so congrats on that.

The topic is the "Least Naturally Athletic Person" to have "the Best Career in Sports."

Explain to me why Lance Armstrong would not get consideration for this.

Larry Bird was a great answer. I'd throw out Wade Boggs as well.

first person i thought when i saw the thread title. couldn't fit a credit card under his vertical leap, and he looked like he was dragging his feet when he ran, yet he was always in the right place for a rebound and he always seemed to be open when he shot

does this guy look like an athlete to you?

i would even say shaq is pretty unathletic. He is just a ginormous person. he can barely shoot a basketball.
